ARTIST STATEMENT
I grew up in a small town in Eastern Europe, surrounded by the beauty of nature. My childhood was filled with exploring the woods, watching clouds form shapes, and marveling at the patterns rivers etched into rock and sand. These moments ignited my creativity and inspired a lifelong passion for design. Even as a child with a wild imagination, I didn’t label myself an artist—I simply followed my inner creative impulse. Today, my jewelry designs are rooted in nature and geometry, blending sterling silver, wire, recycled glass, and semi-precious gemstones. My collection includes handcrafted earrings, necklaces, pendants, cuff bracelets, and contemporary bangles. I use traditional silversmithing techniques alongside wire wrapping, twisting, and weaving to create bold, unique designs that embrace unexpected combinations and vibrant contrasts. I believe deeply in the value of handmade work, which carries a personal touch that mass-produced items lack. Sustainability is central to my process I strive to create jewelry that will be cherished for years, supporting a shift away from disposable culture. When I’m not in my studio, I find joy in spending time with my rescued animals or drawing inspiration from museums, concerts, and art exhibitions. My passion for craftsmanship shines in every piece I make.

SUSTAINABILITY
We are committed to making a difference. Wherever possible, we use recycled materials like silver and glass, striving to improve our sustainability efforts every day. While it can sometimes be challenging, we believe that every small step counts—choosing recycled, or compostable materials whenever possible. Our paper card packaging is crafted from FSC-certified, post-consumer materials and printed by a carbon-neutral company in Ontario. We continuously seek ways to reduce our carbon footprint and adopt sustainable, socially conscious practices to create a positive global impact. Since 2015, Whitelotus Design has proudly partnered with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. For every product sold, we plant one tree. Their mission is simple: reforest the planet, one tree at a time. Every $1 donated plants one tree, helping to restore ecosystems, raise awareness about the importance of trees, and inspire positive environmental action. Together, we’re contributing to a greener future.
